The amendment gives statutory effect to the objectives and strategies contained in the Pakenham Major Activity Centre Structure Plan, 15 February 2021 by introducing the Activity Centre Zone into the Cardinia Planning Scheme and applying it to the Pakenham Major Activity Centre, amending local planning policy, deleting the Development Plan Overlay Schedules 1 and 2 from the subject land and deleting the Pakenham Activity Centre Incorporated Provisions, 20 March 2017 from the Schedule to Clause 72.04.
