The amendment implements the Melton East Precinct Structure Plan 2026 and Infrastructure Contributions Plan 2026 by rezoning land to Schedule 13 to the Urban Growth Zone and Schedule 3 to the Rural Conservation Zone and applying the Heritage Overlay, Schedule 6 to the Environmental Significance Overlay, Schedule 6 to the Incorporated Plan Overlay, the Public Acquisition Overlay, the Environmental Audit Overlay and making other associated changes to facilitate development of the Melton East Precinct.
