Proposes to rezone the former Loreto College site more particularly known as 3-11 Dawson Street North and 20 & 20A Lyons Street North Ballarat from Special Use 5 (Private Educational Establishment) to Business 1| and rezone western portion 2-4 Lyons Street Nth from Special Use 5 (Private Educational Establishment) to Mixed Use. The existing Heritage Overlay (HO167 - Sturt Street Precinct) that applies to land is to be retained. This overlay provides an appropriate level of protection for the heritage values of the site.
