Authorisation No: A490 Includes the following areas within the Heritage Overlay:- St Aidan s - include The Boulevarde St Aidan s Drive and Lindisfarne Crescent Lake Wendouree| 2 ) Colpin Avenue - includes the properties in Colpin Avenue and those on the corner of Colpin Avenue and Wendouree Parade and the north west corner of Gregory Street Lake Wendouree| 3) Dowling Street - generally includes Dowling Street to the railway line and an area bounded by Wendouree Parade and Martin Avenue and parts of Gregory Street Lake Wendouree| 4) Old Showgrounds - generally includes area bounded by Wendouree Parade Haddon Street Burnbank Street to the railway line and Martin Avenue Lake Wendouree| 5) Creswick Road and Macarthur Street - includes properties bounded by Creswick Road Beaufort Crescent Trench Street to the boundary of Creswick Plaza shopping centre Ballarat Central| and 6) Barkly Street/Humffray Street South - includes properties bounded by Barkly Street Main Road Humffray Street South and Porter Street Ballarat Central. The amendment Introduces ongoing Heritage controls relating to inner Ballarat Heritage precincts identified as significant arising from a detailed study by council known as Ballarat Heritage Precincts Study Part A July 2006. It amends the Municipal Strategic Statement to update references to these precincts and to introduce associated local planning policies and incorporated documents into the Ballarat Planning Scheme.
