Amendment C039 (Loddon)

The amendment makes changes to the maps in the Loddon Planning Scheme to correct a number of zoning anomalies, the majority of which relate to incorrect application of the PCRZ to freehold land and recreational facilities. Where land is cleared rural land it is rezoned to FZ and where land has native vegetation values it is rezoned to RCZ consistent with other land in the vicinity. Other corrections include application of Heritage Overlay HO17 - Memsie Station homestead complex, and application of Road Zone 1 and the Public Use Zone.

How to object or make a submission

Your next step if this rezoning affects you. Submissions are how the decision-maker hears from the community.

  1. 1 Rezonings happen through planning scheme amendments under the Planning and Environment Act 1987. The council exhibits the amendment and invites submissions.
  2. 2 Make a written submission to the council during the exhibition period, stating whether you support or oppose the amendment and why.
  3. 3 If unresolved submissions remain, they are referred to an independent planning panel, where submitters can be heard before the council decides.
