The Design and Development Overlay Schedule 16 applies a level of development control in the area affected by the airport Obstacle Limitation Surfaces (OLS) associated with the approach and take off paths of each runway. Under the Design and Development Overlay Schedule 16 between approximately 500 metres and 2.500 metres of each runway a permit is required for all buildings and works exceeding 7.5 metres in height above natural ground level. Limited exemptions apply.
