The amendment proposes to correct zoning mapping errors or anomalies; rezones land at 31 Ayres Street, Argyle from Industrial 3 Zone to Neighbourhood Residential Zone, Schedule 4; applies the Heritage Overlay (HO) to land at one property in Marong and to part of land at 19 properties in Quarry Hill; deletes the VPO2 from land in California Gully, Golden Gully, Quarry Hill and Spring Gully; deletes or amends the HO from land at one property each in Bendigo, Heathcote, Kangaroo Flat and West Bendigo; deletes the DPO4 from land at one property each in Golden Gully and Jackass Flat; inserts three new heritage places into the Schedule to the HO and renames one heritage place; replaces Map 1 in the Schedule to Clause 53.01 (Public Open Space Contribution and Subdivision) and inserts five new statements of significance into the Schedule to Clause 72.04 (incorporated Documents). The changes correct errors and anomalies in the planning scheme to improve its accuracy and ensure the maps and planning provisions are up-to-date, clear and provide certainty to users.
