Implements the Kingston Green Wedge Management Plan December 2023 by updating and introducing new local policy and planning controls to protect and strengthen the semi-rural character of the green wedge. The amendment will rezone Green Wedge Zone land to Green Wedge A Zone to prohibit land uses with offsite impacts, apply a schedule to the Design and Development Overlay to all land outside the urban growth boundary to ensure buildings are sited and designed to take into consideration the semi-rural character and corrects zoning anomalies.
