The Amendment rezones 474 hectares of land zoned Rural Living Zone to Urban Growth Zone to safeguard the area for future development as a strategic residential growth corridor. The Amendment reduces the minimum lot size for subdivision to two hectares, to allow for house excisions and amends the Municipal Strategic Statement to provide interim guidance for planning permit applications until a PSP and DCP is prepared and implemented.
