The amendment applies to all residential zoned land other than land covered by the Heritage Overlay. The amendment changes Clause 21.05 - Housing as follows: Modifies Clause 21.05-1 - Overview by replacing the Urban Character Study with the Bayside Neighbourhood Character Review. Modifies Clause 21.05-3 - Objectives Strategies and Implementation - Objective 2 by replacing the Urban Character Study with the Bayside Neighbourhood Character Review. Modifies Clause 21.05-3 -Policy and Exercise of Discretion by inserting the following dot point: Using local policy to ensure new development respects and enhances the preferred future character of residential areas. Modifies Clause 21.05-3 - Reference Documents to include the following: Bayside Neighbourhood Character Review Planisphere August 2004 Neighbourhood Character Review Precinct Brochures Planisphere. The amendment changes Clause 22 by inserting a new Local Policy - Clause 22.06- Neighbourhood Character Policy - to provide guidance when a planning permit is required for development in the Residential 1 and Mixed Use Zones except where the Heritage Overlay applies.
