Amendment C033 (Darebin)

Introduce vegetation protection controls for stage one of the site formerly known as the Mont Park Psychiatric Hospital now known as Springthorpe located east of La Trobe University and west of Waiora Road Bundoora The controls will require planning permission for the removal or lopping of identified significant vegetation. The controls are based on the recommendations of an existing tree survey and arboricultural assessment that forms part of the Mont Park Development Plan Existing Tree Survey and Arboricultural Assessment. Include the Springthorpe Conservation Plan as an Incorporated Document which identifies trees that contribute to the landscape of the site and trees with high retention value. A permit will be required to remove destroy or lop any tree or shrub identified in the plan.
