Amendment C024 (Wodonga)

Rezones land for the Albury Wodonga National Highway Project Victorian Section from Public Conservation and Resource Zone, Public Park and Recreation Zone, Rural Zone, Industrial 1 Zone, Public Use 4 (Transport) Zone and Residential 1 Zone to Road Zone, Category 1. Varies the extent of the Heritage Overlay 1 (Cambourne Park Homestead) in High Street/Hume Highway to only apply to that part of the title that is being retained in private ownership. Includes the land currently affected by the Rural Floodway Overlay over sections of the project to the of Wodonga, within a Rural Floodway Overlay 2 (RFO2). Removes the Public Acquisition Overlay 1 from all of the proposed Albury Wodonga National Highway Project Victorian Section (all land being rezoned to Road 1 as part of this amendment). Removes the Design and Development Overlay 2 from a small section of land on the Murray Valley Highway, west of Bakers Lane. Removes the Development Plan Overlay 1 from a small section of land east of DeKerilleau Drive. Includes two small sections of private land adjacent to the western side of the proposed Road Zone 1 to which the Public Acquisition Overlay formerly applied within a Development Plan Overlay 1. Includes small sections of private land adjacent to the eastern side of the proposed Road 1 Zone within a Design and Development Overlay 2. Includes a small section of private land adjacent to the western side of the proposed Road 1 Zone to which the Public Acquisition Overlay formerly applied within a Development plan Overlay 3. Inserts a new Schedule (Schedule 2) to the Rural Floodway Overlay to exempt the need for a planning permit for construction and related works for land within the project that is affected by the Rural Floodway Overlay. Amends the schedule to the Public Acquisition Overlay to remove the PAO1 notation relating to the land required for the extensions to the Hume Freeway and link to the Murray Valley Highway. Inserts a schedule to Clause 52.17 to remove the need for a planning permit to remove, destroy or lop native vegetation on the Albury Wodonga National Highway Project Victorian Section that is being rezoned to Road Zone 1.
