Updates clause 21.05 of the Municipal Strategic Statement to implement the Wangaratta Urban Design Framework August 2002 which makes recommendations on a range of land use and development initiatives within the Wangaratta Central Activities Area (CAA). Introduces a new local policy that provides specific guidance for the use and development of land within the CAA| Introduces a new schedule to the Design and Development Overlay to provide guidelines on specific design and built form objectives within the CAA| Rezones land throughout the CAA to either a Residential 1 Zone or Mixed Use Zone to provide for a change of land use in specific locations| Applies the Design and Development Overlay 2 to specific areas within the CAA| Applies Public Acquisition Overlay over part of the land located between MacKay and Ovens Street to enable the creation of a new road.
