The amendment: Introduces changes to the MSS to recognise the strategic importance of the Basslink Electricity Interconnector Project| Incorporates the Basslink - Land Use and Development Controls 2002 in the Planning Scheme that allow the Basslink Electricity Interconnector Project to proceed without a planning permit subject to conditions. These conditions include a requirement for an Environmental Management Plan site layout plans and elevations for building and works and landscaping plans| Includes the Minister for Planning as the responsible authority for administering and enforcing the La Trobe Planning Scheme in respect of the provisions of the Basslink - Land Use and Development Controls 2002.
