Authorisation No A1285 Implements the Lake Benalla Environs Study August 2007 by including the study as a reference document to the scheme including new strategic directions for land use and development in the lake environs in the Municipal Strategic Statement including a new policy to guide applications for land use and development in the lake environs applying the Design and Development Overlay to various sites around the lake inserting Schedules 2 to 6 (inclusive) into the planning scheme and applying the Public Acquisition Overlay to three sites on the northeastern side of the lake for public recreation purposes.
