Amendment C005 (Alpine Resorts)

The amendment revises the Local Planning Provisions that apply to Falls Creek Alpine Resort. The amendment replaces the Falls Creek Local Planning Policy with the Falls Creek Strategic Statement and introduces Local Policies relating to Car Parking and Aboriginal Heritage. The amendment also introduces an Environmental Significance Overlay for Burramys parvus, a vegetation Protection Overlay and a Design and Development Overlay. The amendment also introduces a minor zone change in the zoning adjacent to Howmans Gap to include the existing light industrial/service area in a Comprehensive Development Zone Schedule 2. The amendment also reflects the recent name change of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to the Department of Sustainability and Environment. The name change has been updated in the Environmental Significance Overlays Schedule 1.
